Over 3 years ago I learned about the health benefits of reducing the amount of refined carbohydrates in my diet, so I switched over to a low-carb style of eating and quickly lost 40 pounds. In so doing, I had to learn some new ways to eat, cook, and snack, but it's been well worth it—I've not only kept the weight off, but I've enjoyed lots of good food doing it.
